Critical Thinking in the Classroom Conference and Journal Information
Welcome to our yearly summer conference about integrating and utilizing critical thinking into the language learning classroom. We hope you will join us at our upcoming event. Below you will find access to the fully peer-reviewed journal connected to this conference where both presenters and non-presenters interested in practical applications of critical thinking can submit their research and ideas/opinions about critical thinking in the classroom.
After the journals, you can find older conference information and see what kinds of things the JALT Critical Thinking SIG does for its membership.
Below, you can find links to the CTC2024 and CTC2025 journals. Please feel free to download them and give them a read. It’s completely free for both members and non-members of the JALT CT SIG.

CTC2025 was a resounding success and we hope that, if you joined us in Osaka this year, you found the event to be worth your time. There were many ideas shared ranging from critical thinking game-based learning to logical fallacies and cognitive biases. No matter what your interest in critical thinking is, you probably found something interesting to listen to. Scroll down for some photos from the event.
